Three mornings (10:30 to 12:30) of book themed fun for ages 5-8. Sign up for all 3 days or hand pick a good match for your child. Space will be limited so please reserve your spot soon! Cost, which includes snacks and materials fee, is $25 per class or $60 for all three days. Here's the schedule:
TUESDAY, Feburary 17th HAIL to the CHIEF!
We'll celebrate Presidents Day with Fun Facts, read a couple wonderful books about presidents, make a craft with coins, create presidential cookies for a mid-morning snack and celebrate the parties with ... a party!
WEDNESDAY, Feb.18th JUNGLE DAY:
Learn about the flora and fauna of the world's great jungles, hear some of the original Rudyard Kipling Jungle Book, create a tiger balloon, make a healthy fruit Jungle Kabob for a mid-morning snack and enjoy animal charades.
THURSDAY, Feb 19th MEET SICK SIMON
Simon gets high-fived by his germs for being such a "germ-hero" and spreading his messy cold to everyone he meets. Once he discovers ways to stay healthy, he finds things much more enjoyable. Come for a hilarious morning all about keeping well. We'll make slime and do an experiment that shows why you should use soap when you wash your hands. Each child gets his own tissue pack and hand sanitizer plus lots of fun (and funny) facts about beating germs. Mid-morning healthy snack provided.
Note: All fees are non-refundable and child who misses a camp day will receive craft materials and snack to enjoy at home.
Write a Letter
with Beth El Day Camp Wednesday, Feburary 25th 4 - 5 p.m. Ages 4 - 7
It's a special story time with our friends from Beth El Day Camp. Meet camp director Julie Rockowitz who will be there to answer your questions. We'll read A Letter for Leo and each child will get stationery and a stamped envelope to send a letter to family or friends.
Family Day Sunday, March 1st, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. All ages
Please join us for a celebration of adoption and diversity with the author of Paloma the Possible, Gaily Told Tales. There will be a reading, a discussion with April Dinwoodie, Chief Executive of the Donaldson Adoption Institute, and collage making. Room to Read with Annabel Monaghan Wednesday, March 4th, 630 p.m. Ages 12 and up
Room to Read is a global organization dedicated to promoting and enabling education through programs focused on literacy and gender equality in education. Find out their opportunities for teens to make a difference, plus meet YA author Annabel Monaghan with her books about math whiz Digit who gets recruited by the FBI for her code-breaking and hacking skills.

He’s coming back and we’re all thrilled! If you’ve already met George O’Connor, creator of the Olympians graphic novel series, you understand our excitement.
